The company was an Italian luxury jewelry manufacturer and a new client for Optia. They had been having difficulty locating a Director for their Japanese Wholesale business and decided to contact Optia’s Senior Consultant specializing in the luxury goods markets.
Fortunately the Senior Consultant was well connected in this market and knew of an ideal candidate looking for a position matching the client’s requirements. The timing was almost uncanny. The target candidate was presently working as a Director at a competitor company and knew the client’s company and their position in the market very well. He was interested in the role.
