Max Knight is one of two founding members of Optia Partners and has resided in Tokyo since 1992. Originally from Australia, Max holds a degree in Japanese and Business Studies from Griffith University, Australia.
Max has been recruiting in Japan since 1997 and has assisted many global and local firms achieve their hiring objectives. During this time he has developed a large and diverse network at all levels within the local business community.
In addition to managing the company's overall operations, he is also responsible for conducting searches in Financial Services (Banking, Private Equity, Real Estate and other areas of Investment Management), in addition to Functional Positions (Supply Chain and Logistics, Legal and Accounting) across multiple industries.
