Global Knowledge was established in 1995 and has quickly become a global leader in technical training. Their courses extend beyond regular certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco and Oracle and include programs in areas such as IT management, project management and business analysis.

Temple University

Temple University offers on location courses oriented towards individuals and at introductory and intermediate level in programming, office applications, web design and networking. The courses are part of their continuing education programs and usually run for around 20 hours.

Training Partners is Asia Pacific’s leader in networking, project management and data communications training with around 25 locations in the APAC region. In Japan they operate through their partner, Datacraft and mainly focus on corporate sized classes.

Microsoft

Microsoft Japan offers training for Microsoft certifications through their official training partners (MOTS, CPLS, MCA) and an extensive list of training partners can be found on their website.

Cisco

Cisco offers training for their certifications through their official training partners in Japan which can be found on their website. They also offer e-learning programs and events and seminars such as “CiscoWave” and “Networkers”

Sun Microsystems

Sun offers courses on its products through instructors, CD or on-line. Sun Japan has several of its own training centers and also uses a variety of partners. A comprehensive list of courses and training locations can be found on their website.

Oracle

“Oracle University” offers training through an extensive list of certified partners in Japan which can be found on their website. Training can be conducted through CD’s, on-line or by instructors. As well as Oracle’s flagship database products, training is available for JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and Siebel applications.

SAP

SAP offers training through its facilities and partners in Japan on their main business applications, including ERP, SCM, PLM, CRM and BI. Educational services cover consultant education, project team training, customer specific training, SAP certification and e-learning.

Online Training

Net Learning

Net Learning was established in 1998 and offers educational services over the Internet. They have more than 800 programs in a variety of business related topics with an emphasis on information technology.

Thomson NETG – National Education Training Group

NETG (National Education Training Group) offers over 1000 computer-based courses, covering a range of business programs from desktop applications and systems applications to human resources applications - with more being added every year. Through partnerships with software vendors such as Oracle, Microsoft, Novell, and Netscape, which provide content, NETG uses its "Skill Builder" development engine to create new courses, each with a similar feel and interface.

Project Management Institute

PMI is a global association for project managers with more than 200,000 members, offering training and certification in various aspects of project management. As well as instructor lead seminars, PMI also offers on-line seminar participation and web based e-learning courses.
