The initial client interview is conducted with several key objectives in mind:
Target lists will be prepared and cross referenced to identify areas where special consideration is required such as partner companies or sensitive personal relationships with previous co-workers. Marketing and presentation materials will be compiled by the search team and presented to the client for review before any candidates are approached.
The search team will begin the process of identifying the initial larger pool of potential candidates through industry mapping, leveraging Optia’s extensive database and engagement of a planned referral process. The team will also assist the client if they wish to use paid advertising.
The interview and screening process will run simultaneously with the identification process with the objective of identifying a short list of qualified candidates expediently and within the same approximate time frame. Candidates will only be introduced if they are appropriately qualified, genuinely interested and meet other critical requirements in regard to timing, salary and location.
Reference checks on the finalist candidate(s) will be conducted at the client’s request according the clients preferred method.
The team will work with the client and mediate between the client and candidate where necessary to ensure smooth offer letter negotiations.
The team will guide and advise the candidate through the resignation process and maintain contact and support until the decided start date.

We can arrange a 3 tier payment schedule, a minimal one time up front engagement fee or other structures according to the client’s request.
