Within the Life Sciences Group, Gerald specializes in the Medical Device and Life Science Tools & Services industries. While the majority of his search assignments are for Country Managers and senior Marketing and Sales professionals, he has also successfully placed candidates in various functions including Quality, Regulatory, Customer Support, Technical Service and Back Office Functions.
Gerald provides world-class service to the top foreign capital firms in the Japanese market, and strives to develop close, lasting relationships with both clients and candidates in order to achieve optimal results for all parties.
Gerald first came to Japan from the United States in 2001, holds a Master’s degree from the University of Hawaii, and has previously taught at University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Soongsil University in Seoul, and Kobe Women’s University in Kobe. He is married, lives in central Tokyo, and enjoys travel and outdoor sports such as surfing, snowboarding, and running.
