David studied Law at the University of South Africa before moving into a career in international trade and shipping. While in Johannesburg he worked at Japanese Trading houses as well as spending a few years in the exports sales section at Mitsui OSK Lines.
David came to Japan in 1996 and has held various management positions and was the chief recruiter at his former company before joining Optia Partners.
David specializes in the manufacturing industries and specifically in the precision engineering, materials and related fields. He has strong working relationships with leading multinationals as well as start up companies and is well placed to introduce qualified candidates, as well as assist professionals looking for valuable career opportunities.
