John Parkinson

John specialises in recruiting for the auto industry and his clientele range from leading OEM’s, Suppliers and companies which provide cutting edge technologies aimed at the automotive market. He assists clients and candidates in the occupational fields of sales, marketing, management, engineering, QA and functional positions.
John is originally from the UK, graduating from Manchester University and Leeds Metropolitan University with an emphasis on language, teaching and education. He went on to instructor and co-ordination roles at London’s Teikyo University and moved to Japan in 2003 where he took an instructor and co-ordination role with the Minami Alps City Board of Education in Yamanashi. In addition he held the position of Warden representing the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Yamanashi during his tenure and continues to hold a similar position for the FCO in Tokyo.
In his spare time, John likes to go snowboarding and swimming. He has participated in the Japan Masters swimming tournament several times in recent years. He also enjoys playing rugby league and is a proud member of the Japan rugby league team.
