When a global human resource outsourcing firm could not identify a bilingual accountant with CPA qualifications amongst their own resources, they asked Optia Partners to assist.
The client was one of the world's largest and most well known names in business process outsourcing, staffing and temporary staffing. A bilingual Accounting Manager was required for their Japanese office to manage the accounting team and oversee reporting to US headquarters. The client had been searching for several months, however was finding it difficult to identify a candidate with the right level of English and CPA qualifications. Optia Partners was asked to conduct the search because of its strength in recruiting for Japan’s bilingual professional market.
Even though Optia was be competing against the client itself, as they were a staffing company, Optia’s specialist for recruiting in Finance and Accounting had no trouble in identifying several qualified candidates immediately. Two candidates were selected from the initial four resumes sent and interviews were organized expediently.
Within several weeks the finalist candidate had received an offer from the client. The salary package was amicably negotiated and the candidate was supported throughout the resignation process. Optia Partners was able to deliver a well qualified bilingual candidate to take the Accounting Manager’s role ahead of the client’s own candidate base.
