Mitch Sugihara

Mitch specializes in executive search in engineering and manufacturing technology with emphasis on design (CAD, CAE, CFD, Simulation) and process (PLM, ERP, SCM) technologies, supporting vendors, SI's and consulting firms with mid to senior level technical and sales search.
Brought up in Australia, Japan and Canada, Mitch started his career in Japan in 2004 and completed his studies in management and commerce at the University of Toronto at Scarborough, majoring in venture business development.
Prior to joining Optia, Mitch managed a team of 10+ sales representatives as Chief Sales Coordinator during a 3 year tenor at a System Integration company which specialized in precision and scientific instruments. Mitch was quickly promoted to Chief of Sales after demonstrating a talent for providing leadership and direction to his team and his unique ability to match his global supplier's goals with the need of his Japanese customers within the academia and industrial R&D markets.
In his spare time, Mitch works with and provides support to a number of domestic independent label musicians and enjoys playing soccer with friends.
